Source country
The country identifies the IBKR file in which an instrument appears. It does not identify the issuer’s home country, nationality, or primary exchange.
Methodology and data limits
IBDesk retrieves Stock Loan files from FTP2, checks their structure and contents, then imports complete observations for search and history.

A value such as 0.25 means 0.25% per year. It is an indicative borrow fee, not a guaranteed return and not the amount a security owner receives through SYEP.
Exact values, lower bounds such as >10,000,000, and unknown values remain distinct. An empty field is not zero.
History begins with IBDesk’s own validated observations. Gaps remain visible, and changes are dated when observed rather than presented as exact market execution times.
Availability is not global short interest, executed loan volume, utilization, or evidence of a short squeeze. Source outages do not mean a security has zero availability.
